DZ Series Marine Electric Piston Pump | Low Emulsification Bilge Transfer

A horizontal, single-cylinder piston pump designed for oily water. It handles fluids up to 85°C without creating emulsions. This pump is the ideal partner for oil-water separators and bilge management.

Overview

The DZ Series provides a specialized solution for marine pollution control. Standard pumps spin at high speeds. That speed mixes oil and water together, making separation difficult. Our DZ Series uses a horizontal, single-cylinder piston design. The stirring of oily wastewater is minimal, reducing emulsification.

Oil and water remain separate during transfer. Your oil-water separator works much better when fed by this pump. It handles bilge water, seawater, and fresh water with ease. The design accommodates liquid temperatures up to 85°C. It is built for fluids free of hard particles or fibers. Operators value its durability and economic benefits.

Key Features:

  • Low Emulsification: Maintaining a negative pressure environment, avoiding stirring and reducing emulsification.
  • High Efficiency: Improves the performance of oil-water separators.
  • Temperature Resistant: Operates safely with fluids up to 85°C.
  • Durable Build: High-quality manufacturing ensures long service life.
  • User Friendly: Simple operation and easy maintenance access.

Applications:

  • Oily Water Separation: Feeding mixtures to separation equipment.
  • Bilge Pumping: Removing wastewater from the ship’s bottom.
  • General Transfer: Moving seawater or fresh water between tanks.
  • Wastewater Management: Handling grey water within temperature limits.

Installation & Maintenance:

Installation: Mount the pump on a rigid, flat foundation. Align the piping to reduce stress on the inlet. Install a strainer on the suction side to stop particles.
Maintenance: Check oil levels in the crankcase periodically. Inspect piston seals for wear if pressure drops. The simple layout makes parts replacement fast.

Custom Options Available:

Need something specific?

We can configure the motor voltage (380V, 440V, etc.) to match your ship’s power grid. Material upgrades for higher corrosion resistance are available upon request.

FAQ :

Q1: Why is this pump more suitable for oily water ?

A1: The high-precision fit between the plunger and cylinder body of the plunger pump maintains a good seal, reducing internal leakage under high pressure and ensuring a stable output of high-pressure fluid, while also preventing emulsification.

Q2: Can it handle dirty bilge water?

A2: Yes, but the water must not contain hard particles or fibers. You must use a strainer.
