Overview
Our Japanese stockless anchor is a traditional and reliable design. The cast steel flukes are connected to the cast steel shank with a simple pin. This pivot allows the flukes to rotate and dig into the seabed when dragged. Like other stockless anchors, it is easy to retrieve and stow in the hawsepipe or on a bow roller. It is a popular and cost-effective choice for many smaller vessels.
