Marine Twin Screw Pump | High-Capacity Multiphase Transfer

A high-capacity pump for oil, gas, and water multiphase fluids. It provides strong self-priming and a smooth, low-vibration flow. This pump is a workhorse for fuel transfer, cargo loading, and lube oil circulation.

Accreditation and Certificates:

Approved-logo3-1
Overview
Our twin screw pump is a self-priming, positive displacement pump. Two intermeshing screws rotate inside a close-tolerance housing. They do not touch. This rotation moves fluid axially from suction to discharge. Pumps create a stable, continuous flow with low pulsation and low noise. They can handle liquids with or without lubrication. They can also pump multiphase mixtures of oil, gas, and water with small solids.

Technical Specifications:

Parameter Specification
Max. Flow Rate 2000 m³/h
Max. Pressure 4.0 MPa
Viscosity Range 1 – 1 x 10⁶ mm²/s (at Reduced Speed)

Key Features:

  • Delivers smooth, continuous flow without pulsation or agitation.
  • Strong self-priming capability.
  • Handles multiphase fluids (Oil, gas, water) and liquids with small solids.
  • Transfers both lubricating and non-lubricating liquids.
  • Low vibration and low noise operation.
  • Wide application range with long life and less leakage.

Applications:

  • Shipbuilding: Used as a marine loading pump, ballast pump, main engine lube pump, and fuel oil pump.
  • Oil & Gas: Acts as a multiphase transfer pump for oil, gas, and water mixtures.
  • Petrochemical: Transfers crude oil, heavy oil, resins, and paints.
  • Food Industry: Moves honey, syrup, juice, and other food-grade oils.

Installation & Maintenance:

Installation: Pump installation is straightforward. Follow alignment procedures for the pump and motor.
Maintenance: Pumps offer various shaft seal forms for a wide application scope. This design results in a long service life with less leakage.

FAQ :

Q: Do the screws wear against each other?

A: No, the screws are timed and do not touch each other or the casing.

Q: What does “multiphase”mean?

A: It means the pump can handle a mixture of different states, such as oil, water, and gas, all at the same time.

Q: Can this pump handle high-viscosity crude oil?

A: Yes. It can handle viscosities up to 3000 mm²/s at standard speed. It can handle up to 1,000,000 mm²/s at reduced speeds.
