Marine Level Transmitter (UHB) | For Magnetic Level Gauges
A level transmitter designed to work with a magnetic float level gauge (e.g., UHZ series). It provides acontinuous
4-20mA signal that represents the tank level with ±10mm accuracy. This unit allows for remote reading of a mechanical gauge.
Accreditation and Certificates:
Technical Specifications:

| Compatibility | Magnetic Float Level Gauges (e.g., UHZ Series) |
Key Features:
- Continuous 4-20mA Output: Provides a standard analog signal for remote monitoring in the ship’s automation system.
- Designed for Magnetic Gauges: Mounts directly to the side of a compatible magnetic float level indicator.
- Reliable Non-Contact Measurement: The transmitter reads the float’s magnetic field externally. It has no contact with the liquid.
- Simple Clamp-On Installation: The transmitter is typically attached to the level gauge column with clamps, which simplifies installation.
Applications:
- Remote Level Monitoring for Fuel Tanks: Sends real-time fuel levels from a UHZ gauge to the ship’s automation system.
- Centralized Monitoring of Ballast Tanks: Allows crew to read all ballast tank levels from a single screen in the control room.
- Automation of Service Tanks: Provides the level data needed for automated control of pumps and valves connected to service tanks.
Installation & Maintenance:
Installation: Mount the transmitter vertically onto the side of the magnetic level gauge column using the supplied clamps. Ensure it is aligned correctly. Connect the wiring for power and signal.
Maintenance: The unit is a sealed electronic device and requires no regular maintenance.

Need something specific?
We build transmitters with different measuring ranges to match the length of your magnetic level gauge. We also provide units with required classification society certificates.
FAQ :
Q: Can I use this transmitter by itself inside a tank?
A: No. This UHB model is not a standalone sensor. It must be mounted on the outside of a compatible magnetic float level gauge to function.
Q: How does it measure the level without touching the liquid?
A: It contains a series of sensors that detect the magnetic field from the float inside the magnetic level gauge. It measures the position of the magnet through the wall of the gauge’s chamber.
